The small print

HOUSE RULES

• The Club Room is for the use of members and their guests only.

• Only food and drink purchased from the Wellcome Collection café or provided by caterers in the Wellcome Building may be consumed in the Club Room.

• Members should be respectful of other members using the Club Room.

• Members should comply with any admission policies or other policies relating to the use of Wellcome Collection or the Wellcome Building, including the Wellcome Trust’s health and safety policy.

• Members and their guests must be aged over 18.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Applications for membership of Wellcome Collection’s members’ club (“Club”) are subject to approval by the Wellcome Trust, which has the right to refuse any application.

2. The Wellcome Trust reserves the right to limit the number of members at any time.

3. Membership of the Club is valid for 12 months and membership cards are valid only until the date printed on the card and may not be used beyond this date.

4. Membership may be terminated at any time by a member informing the Wellcome Trust in writing. If membership is terminated part-way through a year, no refund of membership will be available.

5. Membership cards are not transferable. A membership card is only valid when used by the person to whom it is registered and whose name is printed on the front of the card. This is clearly stated on the card.

6. The Wellcome Trust does not accept any responsibility whatsoever for membership cards that are lost or destroyed. Lost membership cards should be reported immediately to Wellcome Collection Visitor Services staff. A replacement charge will be made for lost or damaged cards.

7. Membership cards remain the property of the Wellcome Trust and may not be donated, lent, sold, or exploited for commercial use.

8. Membership cards must be shown at Wellcome Collection on request.

9. Complimentary guest passes will only be issued to Club members in possession of a valid membership card. Guests may only use the Club Room in the company of a Club member and passes are only valid on the day of issue.

10. Members must not use the name, logo or brand collateral of Wellcome Collection, the Club or the Wellcome Trust without the prior written permission of the Wellcome Trust.

11. Members are requested to be respectful at all times of other Club members and users and other stakeholders of Wellcome Collection and the Wellcome Trust and not to use abusive, obscene, racist, or otherwise discriminatory remarks.

12. Members must follow the instructions of Wellcome Collection staff in the event of a building evacuation or other emergency and should not re-enter the building until authorised to do so.

13. The Wellcome Trust provides free wireless access to the internet via WellcomeNet. This service is subject to compliance with the Wellcome Trust’s Usage Policy.

14. Members should not leave unattended bags in the Club Room.

15. In the event that any of these conditions are not adhered to by the member, the Wellcome Trust reserves the right to withdraw membership and the card.

16. The Wellcome Trust reserves the right to amend the Club offer, Club membership fees, concessions and these terms and conditions at any time.

17. Wellcome Collection is a major new public venue from the Wellcome Trust. The Wellcome Trust is a charity registered in England, no. 210183. Its sole trustee is The Wellcome Trust Limited, a company registered in England, no. 2711000, whose registered office is at 215 Euston Road, London NW1 2BE, UK. The Wellcome Collection Club will be administered by the Wellcome Trust.
