Enhance your visit to Wellcome Collection by joining one of our free guided tours. There is no need to book (though spaces are limited). Just meet your guide beside the Information Desk on the ground floor at the times shown below.
If you are a group of more than eight people and would like to join a tour, please contact us in advance by completing the group visit enquiry form to organise a timed tour.
Gallery Tours
These tours are led by one of our knowledgeable Visitor Services Assistants and last approximately 30 minutes.
Saturday at 11.30: tour of ‘Madness & Modernity’

Layman to Shaman Tour
Quackery, sorcery and ancestor worship: just some of the many topics covered in this anthropology-themed tour of the ‘Medicine Man’ gallery. Tours last approximately 1 hour.

Come and join this guided tour to explore some of the A-, B- and (let's face it) C-list celebrities represented in our ‘Medicine Man’ gallery. Tours last approximately 1 hour.

Behind-the-scenes Tours
Join one of these walking tours to explore the building, the objects in the Collection and the work of the Wellcome Trust in more depth.
These tours take place on the last Friday of every month at 13.00.
These tours last for approximately one hour and there are limited seating opportunities.
BSL Tours
On the last Thursday of every month at 18.00 we run a guided BSL Tour. These tours last approximately 25 minutes.
