From the Heart

'From the Heart' was an interactive workshop for all ages using music, movement and projected images to journey through the human heart. Internationally acclaimed performers Eugene Skeef, Roxana Pope and Jonny Wilson worked with small groups, drawing inspiration from the heart beat to create beats, music and dance.

The workshops explored the themes of resonance, wellbeing, the heart in relation to different emotions and how heart rates relate to different types of music. Water drums, udus (ceramic pot drums), laptops and human bodies were just some of the instruments available to play.
