Monica Navarro-Michel is from the Faculty of Law at the University of Barcelona. At the event she spoke about Spain's successful 'presumed consent', or 'opt-out' system, which she believes works well because it is accompanied by a strong infrastructure, including specialist transplant coordinators based in the hospitals themselves.
