The image of the HIV virus itself, with its distinctive globe covered in trumpet-like protuberances, is common in scientific literature about AIDS, but rarer in health education. In this Bangladeshi poster, an arm with a slogan on it holds the virus, symbolising protection from infection through following its advice.
