Though the message of this poster is
straightforward and universal, its intended target audience is
clear in the image of the people it portrays: two gay black men.
The representation of romantic and pleasurable sexual activity
enjoyed by attractive people also makes clear that safe sex does
not detract from the appeal of sex itself.
