HIV and homeopathy

This poster advertises a meeting at a gay
men's centre in Berlin to discuss HIV and homeopathy. While a
'cure' for HIV or AIDS remains elusive, certain combinations of
antiretroviral drugs have succeeded in slowing the progression of
the HIV virus in the human body. Meanwhile, many have looked to
alternative medicine either for a miracle cure, or palliative care.
Homeopathy itself, a treatment based on serial dilution of
potentially dangerous substances, has not been proven effective in
combating HIV, or indeed any other ailment.
