Prospective members
Due to exciting new developments
with our members' Club, including a brand new Club Room, we
will be
accepting new joiners from January 2011.
In the meantime, if you would like to register interest in joining
us as a member next year, please email

Existing members
As you know, we are currently
creating a new, larger, Club Room for members. We are also
reviewing membership policies and packages. In appreciation of your
membership to date, and in recognition that some unavoidable
disruption may take place during the installation of the new Club
Room, temporary complimentary membership will be extended, at no
cost, for all memberships due for imminent renewal (1 September to
31 December 2010).
This renewal will be valid until we are ready to unveil the new
room and implement the revised membership offer which is likely to
be early in 2011. You will receive a renewal letter in the post
shortly before you are due to renew. We will also maintain contact
with all members, to provide regular updates about Club
developments. In the meantime you can always email us at

The Club means different things to different people.
For some it's all about access to the Club Room, conceived by
renowned designer Ilse Crawford, who sought to capture the spirit
of innocent invention, animated by a sense of humour. The result is
a room at the heart of Wellcome Collection where you can drink tea,
swap ideas, meet kindred spirits, work or just relax. A place where
art meets science and where medicine meets anthropology.
For others, the Club is about having an opportunity to mix with
interesting people at the monthly Club socials and exhibition
private views. You might just like to feel a bit closer to Wellcome
Collection. Regardless of motivation, there are plenty of benefits,
including:
- unlimited use of the private Club Room during opening
hours
- regular networking events
- invitations to private exhibition views for you and a
guest
- special offers and discounts available only to members,
including 10 per cent discount at Peyton and Byrne for
takeaway food and in Blackwell bookshop.
Club Room hours
Monday to Wednesday 09.30-18.00
Thursday 09.30-22.00
Friday 09.30-18.00
Saturday 10.00-18.00
Sunday 11.00-18.00
If there are no Wellcome events in the
Club Room on the evenings when the room is due to close at 18.00
you may stay until 19.00.
The café and bookshop close at 18.00 daily except on late-night
Thursday.
