Balloon Debate
18 February 2010, 19.00 - 20.30
You have £1 million to spend on the challenge of an ageing
population. What do you think is a priority? Who would you give £1m
to, and how would you decide? Four speakers were invited to
champion their own proposals in a debate which saw one speaker
voted out in each round. Follow the links below to watch each
of them explaining the argument they are about to put forward in
the debate. Andrea Gillies was the eventual winner, followed
closely by Hugh Perry.
Watch the video above to hear some views from the audience.
