Opening remarks

An insight into 'Identity: Eight rooms, nine lives' from the
curator of the exhibition.
Toby Murcott is a biochemist by training but
has spent the last 15 years as a science writer, journalist,
author, broadcaster and producer. He currently writes for a variety
of publications, produces 'Home Planet' for BBC Radio 4, consults
on science communication and facilitates all manner of public
meetings and events.
Hugh Aldersey-Williams is a writer and curator
with interests ranging from science to architecture and design. He
has written a number of books on design, as well as 'The Most
Beautiful Molecule'. He curated 'Touch Me' and 'Zoomorphic' at the Victoria and
Albert Museum. He is curator of 'Identity: Eight rooms, nine
lives'.
