Dirty old town
20 August 2011, 11.00 - 16.00

The City of London we see today is built on the rubbish and ruins
of 1500 years of occupation. Archaeologists working here are
especially lucky because the waterlogged conditions down by the
River Thames have preserved materials that would normally have
disappeared.
Dirty Old Town comprises two
events, both taking place on Saturday 20 August.
