Gebisa Ejeta
In this video Gebisa Ejeta introduces his
work and discusses his most exciting current projects.
Gebisa Ejeta is a
world-leading, award-winning plant scientist developing
drought-resistant crops for Africa. He has experienced hunger
first-hand, during his childhood in Ethiopia, and is now an adviser
to President Barack Obama, as well as being a World Food Prize
Laureate and Distinguished Professor at Purdue University, USA. He
spoke to A C Grayling about addressing the current food crisis
in the Horn of Africa and abolishing famine worldwide.
