Facing up to the Past
01 April 2010, 18.00 - 19.30

Our guest speaker Natasha McEnroe will reveal the
fascinating story behind plaster casts taken from criminals
and notable figures collected by Francis Galton. This
exciting collaboration with the Wellcome Library also provides
context and background about why such objects were created,
and features current research on how we interpret other
people's faces.
Speakers:
Natasha McEnroe, Grant Museum of Zoology and
Comparative Anatomy, UCL
Danny Rees, Assistant Librarian, Wellcome
Library
