Conversations with people whose jobs bring them into contact with death and the dying on a daily basis. What insights do their extraordinary jobs give them into life and death?

T Cribb and Sons, the oldest funeral directors in the East End of London, has a history going back to the 19th century. John Harris is from the fourth generation of the family to dedicate themselves to giving the residents of the East End a fitting send-off, whether that involves horse-drawn carriages, street processions or jazz bands. Join him in conversation to find out how funeral practices differ across east London’s culturally diverse population, and how he helps families to face their loss.

John Harris, Managing Director, T Cribb and Sons, London and Essex
