Leap of Faith
02 February 2012, 19.00 - 20.30
The building blocks of science are based on
explanation and testable proofs. So how does this apply to visions,
beliefs and unexplained phenomena? How can proof change our
beliefs, and what is the fundamental relationship between the
unproven and the need to prove? This event asks what part
scientific proof can – and, indeed, should – play for three
inexplicable phenomena: alien encounters, near-death experiences
and the so-called ‘God Particle’.
This event is FREE.
