Age-related macular degeneration is the most
common cause of blindness in the developed world. Pete Coffey talks
to the Wellcome Trust's Daniel Glaser about how he and his team at
University College London's Institute of Ophthalmology are using
pioneering embryonic stem cell technology to restore lost
sight.
