Cells come in many shapes and sizes. Chris
Bakal, a systems biologist at the Institute of Cancer
Research, is fascinated by their ability to change shape and
migrate around the body - a process that goes out of control in
cancer. He talks to the Wellcome Trust's Daniel Glaser about how
understanding the shapeshifting properties of cells is the key to
fighting this disease.
This packed lunch event was recorded live
on 17 November 2010 at Wellcome Collection.
