Peas, Placards and Protest

18 April 2009, 11.00 - 17.00

Peas, Placards, Protest!

Wellcome Collection and Bobby Baker's Daily Life Ltd present the 'human campaigning peas' - protesting with placards and powerfully pertinent chants. They'll be inspiring the masses (of Euston at least) to join them in speaking their minds.

Why peas? There are many silent 'p's in the professions that deal with the mind, whether in psychology, psychiatry or psychotherapy.

All of us are patients and some of us are professionals too. You can hear the 'p' in patient, but can you hear what we all really think?

That's why we're giving the 'p's a chance to speak their minds.

Come and hear them out, then pop into the workshop to make your own placard and play your part.

Participating personnel:

Bobby Baker and the polymorphic Daily Life Ltd team

Performing peas from Queen Mary, University of London

To accompany the ‘Bobby Baker’s Diary Drawings’ exhibition.

This event is free. No advance booking required.
