Matt Parker is the UK’s leading stand-up mathematician, combining his twin passions of numerical accuracy and comedy. A veteran of the mathematical comedy scene, he is one half of hit comedy show Your Days Are Numbered: The Maths of Death, which he performed at Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2010 alongside comedienne and journalist Timandra Harkness. He was awarded the People's Choice Award in the National FameLab finals in 2009, and was awarded the Joshua Phillips Award for Innovation in Science Engagement in October 2011.
