Choral incantations drift across a stack of bricks, consecrating the transformation of people’s dust from the almost invisible to the palpable. Lists of the everyday combine with industrial promise, creating a musical tribute to the overlooked and forgotten. ‘The Brick-Keepers’ is part of ‘Laid to Rest’, a project by artist Serena Korda with original score by composer Daniel O’Sullivan.
