Mercedes Leon graduated in Fine Arts in Madrid, 2010, after studying arts in Barcelona and Gijón. She is currently studying for an MA in Illustration at Camberwell College of Arts, London.

She has worked as a freelance illustrator and art director since 2010, for several studios and agencies in northern Spain. She has illustrated and published some books in Spain, and she has recently exhibited at Peckham Space.
