Young people respond to Superhuman

Wellcome Collection
teamed up with Camden Summer University and local secondary
schools to offer young people the opportunity to engage with
the Superhuman exhibition in creative ways. Young people
took part in several projects.
-
Working with Camden Summer University this summer a group of local young people created their own graphic novel using the Superhuman exhibition as inspiration.
-
Our second Camden Summer University course this summer for local young people was a film project on the theme of enhancement.
-
During July, our Youth Programme worked with a group of young people from local secondary schools to design and create a family trail for the 'Superhuman' exhibition. Working with curators, gallery staff, designers and illustrators, the young people created a fantastic resource that is carefully thought through and beautifully presented.
Camden Summer University, in partnership with
local NHS speech and language therapists, delivered an
inclusive animation project linked to the Superhuman exhibition.
The group of seven young people produced ‘Future Beings’ which
features animations and interviews showing their predictions
for the future of human beings.
